Bôken – The JRPG Board Game | Official Teaser Trailer

THIS VIDEO WAS ENTIRELY MADE BY A HUMAN (MIKI TAJIMA). Inspired by iconic JRPGs from the 80s and 90s such as Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger, Bôken brings the spirit of classic video games to your table with a fully immersive, screen-free experience and a unique magnetic save system. It features a large open-world campaign lasting around 15 to 30 hours, set in the kingdom of Lanoth, where you’ll find exploration, turn-based combat, loot/craft, villages, shops, NPCs, quests, dungeons, bosses… the full JRPG experience 🙂 Bôken also features an innovative magnetic board system that allows you to save your game instantly and set up or pack away the game in under one minute, just like a video game. This makes it easy to play at your own pace, whenever you want, in a smooth and flexible way 😉 After a successful first crowdfunding campaign in France last year, Bôken – The JRPG Board Game is going global, and we’re now preparing an international Kickstarter!
