Pregnant woman rescued from migrant boat at sea

The Italian Coast Guard conducted a rescue operation at sea near the coast of Syracuse, after the rescue team responded to a medical emergency call. A  woman who was four months pregnant was reportedly in need of medical assistance, having lost consciousness at one point. The team used a helicopter to help the woman from the boat, which was carrying approximately 80 migrants on board.
