French language in decline in Africa – Macron

The president of France has conceded that African nations are turning away from using his country’s language. Representatives of French-speaking nations around the world are currently gathering for a summit on Djerba Island, Tunisia. And even though Emmanuel Macron considers colonialism to have been a mistake, he still wants African nations to speak more French.
