Senator’s innocent question triggers bizarre trans rant from woke professor

Sometimes, all you have to do is turn up and let your opponent do the work for you. Republican Senator Josh Hawley found himself on the receiving end of a baffling rant courtesy of Berkeley Law Professor Khiara Bridges, when the pair clashed at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on abortion. Bridges became agitated after Hawley asked her to clarify her phrase ‘people with a capacity for pregnancy,’ asking if she meant ‘women.’ This unleashed a torrent of indignation from Bridges, in which she accused Senator Hawley of inciting violence against trans people, purely for his suggestion that pregnancy is a women’s issue.
