Metro Awakening Song – Official OST: My Beloved Land (LIVE) – Песня из Метро Awakening

Presenting the live performance of "My Beloved Land," the hauntingly beautiful intro song for the Metro Awakening OST. This piece was created and arranged by the talented Anne-Kathrin Dern, with Lena Glikson as the lyricist, vocal arranger, and vocalist. Lyrics (in both Russian and English): Russian Lyrics: English Translation: O, fierce winds have descended Upon my beloved land Ah, my heart is aching badly, Ah, there is no helping it But I'll light a lamp, and a candle, And drive the sorrow away. But I'll light a lamp, and a candle, And drive this scourge away. I'll recall the bright old days, My native land, in bloom And the beautiful sun. Where are you fields and rivers? Where are you forests and mountains? You have taken my heart With you forevermore.
