Lebanon has announced its outrage at what it calls an Israeli provocation against its territory, after Tel Aviv permitted an exploration ship to enter a disputed zone. The part area in question, the oil and gas rich Karish field, is claimed by Lebanon to be within its Maritime borders, something that Lebanese Hezbollah have vowed to protect. Whilst Israel claim it to be within their territory.
