I have seen many tears, I have encountered many sorrows, I have heard many words, As I walked through the earth. But among the lives of people I have never come across a story That a loving God Betrayed His faithful one! Chorus: Amidst the fire, amidst the snow, Whether the sun gently shines or scorches with heat, You are never alone; God is near you, Christ is unshakable, and He stands by you. The world lifts you up, Crowns you with glory, But the next day, the crowd Has already prepared the cross. Even if you’re crushed to dust, Weighed down by life’s heavy burden, Cast off your groundless fear— God will not forsake His own!
