Yu-Peng Chen, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Liang Zhang - Love in First Bloom

Watch Yu-Peng Chen perform this piece taken from his brand new album 'The Poem of Life': https://DG.lnk.to/thepoemoflife It is a deeply personal symphonic work conceived as a musical journey through the stages of life. The album blends western classical traditions with Chinese musical sensibilities, exploring the emotions, memories, and milestones that connect us all. Spanning childhood curiosity, youthful ambition, first love, personal growth, loss, and acceptance, the music combines sweeping orchestral writing with lyrical piano passages to reflect the beauty and fragility of the human experience. Recorded with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra under Maestro Zhang Liang, 'The Poem of Life' is Chen’s most intimate artistic statement to date. Bridging East and West, the album invites listeners to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the moments that shape our lives.
