Mali sentences 46 soldiers from Ivory coast to 20 years in jail over alleged anti-govt conspiracy
A court in the west African nation of Mali has imprisoned a group of soldiers from neighboring Ivory Coast, on anti-government conspiracy charges. Ivory Coast has maintained that those 46 soldiers were to serve in a UN peacekeeping mission. Mali says they were mercenaries seeking to overthrow the government.
