Palestinian prisoners vow hunger strikes amid protests against Israeli crackdown

The beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan is being marked by protests and prisoner hunger strikes against Israeli policies in Palestine. Protesters have gathered to support Palestinians who have been jailed by Israeli authorities. The prisoners, meanwhile, have vowed to go on hunger strike as they say those facilities are rife with abuse.
