Pronunciation Sentence Stress Function and Content Words

Proper and natural English pronunciation has a rhythm. If you don't follow this rhythm you will sound unnatural and people may not understand you as well as they should. Practice this English pronunciation to improve your English speaking. Note that English has some syllables that are longer, higher (in pitch), and louder than other syllables. Be sure to pay attention to the stress patterns and rules discussed in this video. Do you know the difference between content words and function words?
