Irish schoolteacher Enoch Burke has been jailed after refusing to address a pupil as ‘they,’ saying that his religious resolve prevents him from doing so. The Wilson's Hospital School, a religious boarding school in Ireland, had put the history and German teacher on paid suspension, but Burke refused to stay away from the premises, leading then to his arrest.
