Restoration of an old park USSR lamp"РТУ-01-125-Д53-02-У1"Огонёк"1987г."
The legendary lamp РТУ-01-125 "Огонёк" was accidentally spotted by me in an abandoned park. Unfortunately, the lantern was attached to a fallen support whose base had rotted. Local residents said that it had been lying idle for several years. We decided to immediately save it and at the same time show you its restoration! We were lucky that it was completely uncracked, however, when we unscrewed the lid we were very disappointed since there was no throttle there, and instead of the original ДРЛ-125 bulb, a 200-watt filament was screwed in, but nothing happened, we were still able to return the lantern to its original appearance. Previously, such lamps were installed practically everywhere, they could be seen in parks, squares, sanatoriums, , alleys, etc.
