Are Steam Hardware Bans Real? Can You Get Them By Cheating In TF2?

I am not aware if this is the same case for CS2, considering the problem is way bigger in CS2. Since 2024 (and I admit I am part of the issue) people has claimed to receive hardware bans for cheating in TF2. This video is to prove that as of today, you can't get harware banned for cheating in TF2. If you use a different install of Windows in a separate drive on your computer you shouldn't get banned at all.
