This dream trailer was created to entertain the fans and in hopes that it will inspire filmakers to make it a real movie! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: Robocop is one of my favorite franchise growing up. For the record I only made one Robocop 2 dream trailer and it did okay in the channel. That was a while ago, I think its time for another one because now I’m done making a robocop and terminator crossover dream trailers unless one of my old trailers goes viral again. Its was exciting to make Robocop 2 dream trailer 2 because the time I’m making this there is a new Robocop video game trailer that just came out. That means more fresh scenes for our main character. We begin showing Detroit, which I made clear since this is Robocop’s town. The town kinda reminds me of Gotham how there is a lot of crime. Line from Secret Invasion “You were never the same” is a reference to how Robocop used to be human now his half man and half machine. Which I also made clear in the wording sequence. Another line from Secret Invasion “You always told me there is no shame in walking away when the steps are uncertain” to make Clara Murphy say to Robocop. The second great ingredient is the music. I wanted to make the trailer attract the original Robocop fans but also the new generation, so I chose a modern hip hop song to make Robocop look cool. Speaking of cool there is a cool futuristic cop scene from the film UPGRADE which I showed and made Robocop drive the car. At the end I made sure to play the theme song a little bit to bring nostalgia to the original Robocop fans.
