DJ Set recorded live in September 2025 on the island of Florianópolis, southern Brazil. This week I was invited to play at the Pássaro Vermelho Mostra Jazz, a series of performances with various jazz musicians — with me being the only DJ — held at the Porongo restaurant here in Florianópolis. I recorded this set live during the performance (which took place last night), and I’m excited to share it with you here. Jazz is not just a musical genre. It’s a perspective, a state of things, where improvisation, mistakes, and beauty are all served at the same table, allowing us to fully experience the present moment.
