According to the Vaishnava calendar, this was the Appearance Day of Tridandi Swami Srimad Bhakti Aloka Paramahamsa Maharaj. The recording was made during the continued celebration period following the grand Gaura-Purnima festival, when devotees were still gathered at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math and in Kolkata for the week-long yearly meeting. This period represents one of the most spiritually charged times of the year, as devotees remained immersed in the ecstatic mood of Mahaprabhu's Divine Appearance celebration while hearing His Divine Grace's transcendental teachings.
