No, this is a concept trailer, in the channel its called “what if” trailer, like mentioned in the start and end credits of the trailer. ►Is this trailer inspired by an upcoming film? No official movie coming soon so far. ►What is the aim for making these trailers? In Macam Studios they are created to inspire film-makers, actors and fans to dreaming without limits, through ‘what if’ trailers. ►How are ‘what if’ trailers made? I start by becoming a fan of the film, then research franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream film. Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. Ultimately to create a ‘what if’ trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more. ►What makes Macam Studios unique from other concept trailer channels? Unlike other channels, Macam Studios state at the beginning of each trailers that its 'fan made'. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: I was motivated to create a fan trailer for The Expendables 5 for two reasons. Two things happened: one, the channel is now trending again; second, I had the idea to name the fifth chapter The Expendables 5: A Christmas Story and center it around Lee Christmas. Actually, they scrapped this initial concept for the fourth installment. It seems sense to base the fifth episode on Christmas, given the fourth film essentially establishes the direction the franchise is taking by making him the primary character. This is advantageous because Stallone doesn't have many new sequences, so I won't have to include too many footage of him playing merely supporting roles. Naturally, the main draw is adding additional action stars to the cast, including Jackie Chan, Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves, and The Rock, to mention a few. I carried on the story about Gunner betraying the squad that I had started in the previews. I added a new plot, by making Keanu Reeves character the brother of Gunner to make it more personal. And then also Jackie Chan’s character to be brother of Yin Yang (Jet Lee). The trailer turns out to be great thanks to the fresh new plot. I end the trailer with Barney rescuing Christmas via plane from the epic clip from The Meg 2.
