No, this is a concept trailer, in the channel its called “what if” trailer, like mentioned in the start and end credits of the trailer. ►Is this trailer inspired by an upcoming film? No official movie coming soon so far. The title "A Christmas Story" was inspired by the actual title that was pitched for the 4th film. ►What is the aim for making these trailers? In Macam Studios they are created to inspire film-makers, actors and fans to dreaming without limits, through ‘what if’ trailers. ►How are ‘what if’ trailers made? I start by becoming a fan of the film, then research franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream film. Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. Ultimately to create a ‘what if’ trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more. ►What makes Macam Studios unique from other concept trailer channels? Unlike other channels, Macam Studios state at the beginning of each trailers that its 'fan made'. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: As a big fan of 80s action, Expendables is like a Christmas present to me. Speaking of Christmas, there were rumors that the 4th installment was going to be titled The Expendables 4: A Christmas Story, but it was scrapped. So I thought if there was a 5th installment it would be called that. Ofcourse the title is direct reference to now the main character of the franchise Lee Christmas. Although I didn’t really make the story centered around the character, I manage to make him important to the story. The plot remains the same, Gunner betrays the team, this time the plot is about the team rescuing Christmas. ROUGE W4RFARE had an awesome line talking about forming forces, mentioning different countries. So I took the opportunity to show some members of Expendables and including new one. For example for Russia I showed Gunner, for US I showed Lee Christmas and for China I showed Jackie Chan. I got inspired to make new Expendables 5 trailer because Sylvester just released a new film called ARMOR and Jackie Chan called PANDA PLAN.
